Yeah, see, these delays are starting to wear on me a bit now. One of my friends is convinced that Megaman 2 is the greatest game ever and that Megaman should be in Brawl. If they delay it again to add anyone in this roster…ugh.
He was complaining about how great it would be for MM to be in Brawl before the last delay. I’m just complaining for no real reason other than to voice my frustration that they keep pushing it back.
I’m looking forward to it due to the Wi-Fi especially. My work-college-sleep-repeat lifestyle doesn’t allow much time for playing Melee with friends, so the Wi-Fi capability allows me to actually experience some of that fun again.
I can’t believe Wolf made the final cut. What can he possibly be besides a clone of Fox? And they already included Falco. If they wanted anither Star Fox character, they could have at least used Krystal.
But, nobody’s perfect. The game is doubtlessly going to be thirty-one flavors of kicking your ass regardless.
I’m currently curious about the event matches and if any of them are as difficult as Melee’s.
Also from what I’ve seen of the Masterpieces demo selection at least a third of my prayers have been answered. Fire Emblem 3 was amongst the choices along with Mother 2 (Mother’s 1 and/or 3 would’ve been better but it’s still good). Now if they can just a) make it over here without getting cut from Brawl and b) quickly follow that up with their actual appearances on the VC I’ll be a happy bearded creampuff.
Oh yes, some news for the people interested in all the music in Brawl.
Someone has ripped the ISO and worked on extracting all the BGMs. There’s over 300 tracks altogether, and removing all of the brief victory themes, that still leaves about 287 tracks.
That’s a lot. Especially considering most of the people ripping music manually only have 50-60 tracks done so far. Even accounting for near-duplicates and brief fanfares, that still leaves room for many more tracks, and way more than I could’ve thought was going to be in the game.
And considering that most of the music in the game are remixed BGMs from other sources, I’m a happy little VGM fan.
(The new music for Final Destination rocks so hard, oh man…)
