I un/reinstalled AIM, but the same problem occurs; It closes itself whenever I try to open an IM window. I took a screen capture of the error message.

I would very much like to get AIM fixed but, worst case scenario, Trillian seems to be suiting my purposes.

I inexplicably get that message whenever I shut down AIM. Since I’m shutting it down anyway, I never pay any attention to it.
