For the record, I am Canadian. I grew up in Montreal, Canada. I moved to the states in 1998, finished my high school and went to University of California Irvine. I will have a BS in Biological Sciences (1 class away from Molecular Biology and Biochemistry grar) and after about 6.5 years, I’ll be moving back to Montreal for my MD PhD.
And yes your comments helped a bunch, SK! Thanks! I mellowed out my essay dramatically.

Yeah, I’m thinking of going into med. I’m thinking of schooling in the U.S. if I manage to get into a good one; only the really good ones offer nice burseries and scholarships based on financial need.
