That was apparently what Square meant by Fantasy back in the late 90’s.
Now it probably refers to the chances of them doing something other than whoring out it’s main license with lousy spin-offs and re-re-re-remakes.
I still can’t decide whether 2’s “I’ve got to beat myself up to level up system” or “8’s if it involves something other than Junctioning uber magic spells to my stats and abilities or Limit Breaks it’s either gonna be a bad idea or an incredibly bad idea” was the greater of the two disasters.
Oops.
The funny part is that the game rewarded not getting exp=winning battles (otherwise your junctions weren’t that effective).
