Spider-Man 2 IS coming closer!! (Batman 5 too)

According to THIS site:

There’s going to be a 13-minute behind-the-scenes special on SM2 on HBO on Thursday 24th. Since I don’t get HBO, can someone comment on it here? Thanks.

Plus, there’ll be a new SM trailer aired during this week’s “The Apprentice”. (God I hope they don’t make a “You’re FIRED!” joke on Spidey! >_< )

Plenty of other stuff at this site, too, like BATMAN 5 info. I recommend it, it always has the latest comic book movie news.

Spider-man, spider-man, friendly neighbourhood spider-man…

I hope I’ll like it as much as the first one. Although I won’t get to see it at a drive-in. =P Think I’ll skip the previews, though…

Actually, it may be likely they stick a ‘You’re Fired!’ gag in there, I mean, would it really be all that difficult with J.J.J.?

I never have liked spiders except for daddy long legs and Tobey as Spiderman ^ _ ^;

Christan Bale as Batman, ugh ugly, though i don’t know what the guy has been in. They need to bring back Michael Keaton maybe even Val Kilmer(drools).

Agent Zero reminds me too much of Darkman ;p

Hellboy could be decent or worse. I’ve heard the guy who is hellboy does the voice of slade from teen titans?

Thanks Wilfredo for the nice pics hehe

Nice. Spiderman 2 (which they just call ‘2’ in the ads for some reason) and Batman 5.
Who did they say was going to be the Scarescrow again? Was it Johnny Depp?

I dunno, but Ken Watanbe is Ras Al Ghul.

Ras Al Ghul is in it?
Awesome!

Awesome! I’ve been waiting for the next Batman movie. I thought Jim Carrey was a riot playing the Riddler.

I’d heard a rumor Toby was out of it because of an injury. Must have just been a rumor. Well, even though I’m not a fan of his, I didn’t think he did poorly, and I’m glad t osee they could keep with the same actor for at least two movies in a row.

Cilian Murphy (28 Days Later) is playing The Scarecrow.

I can’t stand Tobey Maguire. I hate him so much - he’s such a little pansy.

One of the coolest things about Spiderman is his wit, how he has something smart to say during every fight. Tobey does not have this, thus, Tobey is not spiderman. Tobey is wussy boy.

Sorc: Yeah, Spidey’s sense of humor is one of the things I missed in the first movie. I hear that they’ll be including it on THIS one. Here’s hoping.

Bing: That was right, McGuire WAS injured (while filming Seabiscuit, I think) and he ALMOST had to pass on the sequel. I guess he heals fast (then again, the millions of $$ he’s going to make are a good motivation to get back in shape!) : )

Giza: Al Ghul is, in MY opinion, Batman’s ONLY worthy foe. I mean, Joker, Catwoman etc. are cool, but NONE of them match his intelligence or skill. Ghul does. It’s time he got the exposure he deserves.

Gunsmoke: You’re welcome. Oh, and Ron Perlman is indeed the voice of Slade, and a fine one at that. He is however better known as the “The Beast” in the old Beauty and the Beast Live action TV show. (Talk about hiding your face from the public!) : )

BTW: Does anyone here besides me read WIZARD magazine? They always have interesting articles on anything comics-related, including interviews with the actors in the movies, and LOTS of pictures.

It’s a shame that they still make Batman movies. Batman is supposed to be all dark and moody and gritty. Every movie after Batman Returns have been corny and somewhat lame.

I’m sorry, but the Joker made Batman, and Batman made Joker - making the Batman-Joker relationship one of the most complicated and interesting Hero/Villian relationships ever.

Just you wait my friend, just you wait.

Indeed, I must agree.

OH, MAN! I just saw the new Spider-Man 2 trailer after “The Apprentice” and IT LOOKS GREAT! It looks like it captures what Spider-Man is about… the down-on-his-luck Hero who can never really give up.

This movie might Actually be better than the first!

Gotta find WHERE I can download the trailer now…

However, I don’t feel they captured the way Dr. Octopus looked in the comics.
In a way he looks cooler (I mean he has a trenchcoat.), but he just doesn’t seem Dr. Octo-y to me that much, besides the claws that it.
