Gackt is good, I second that. My favorite group is X Japan. By them, I recommend. . .

I’ll admit. Sorcerer does have quite a good selection. I didn’t know you could name that many.

Funny, Hades, you told me that Metallica’s first album sucked- and that you hated Iron Maiden. Apparently if I say it, it sucks, and if Sorc does, it doesn’t. Interesting.

Oh man, Metallica… I don’t like their recent stuff- but check out anything from the albums Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets. Some from the next two are… okay. Like “Blackened.” But eh. Not a lot of great stuff.

Ever since Lars Ulrich became a little bitch about Napster, I no longer respected Metallica fully.

I agree entirely! They are still a good band, but they certainly lost something in my eyes.

Thanks for the site Loki.

edit I’d just like to mention that most new Outkast material blows monkey cock. For quality Outkast, pick up the albums Aquemini, ATLiens, Southernplayalistic and Stankonia. This was inspired by that song Roses and Hey Ya! - both of which make my mouth go dry and my brain go numb.

Phew. Methinks that’s it for now.

More nitpickiness. The RatM song “Pocket Full of Shells” is actually titles “Bulls on Parade”.

AFI - Bleed Black
Bad Religion - Parallel
Bad Religion - Raise Your Voice
Bad Religion - Leaders and Followers
Bad Religion - Shattered Faith
Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
Jason Mraz - I’ll Do Anything
Jason Mraz - The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)
Linkin Park - Session
Rize - Rude Awakening (OC ReMix)
Rage Against the Machine - In My Eyes
Rage Against the Machine - Vietnow

Jason Mraz is a male crooner in a style similar to John Mayer. I like Mraz’s lyrics much better though.

That’s weird, because I have both, and while “Bulls on Parade” is labeled as Pocket full of Shells, I have a song called Bulls on Parade that isn’t Bulls on parade…

The chorus goes like this:

“Just victims of the in house drive by
They say jump you say how high”

That would be Bullet in the Head, off their first album.

hmm…
My Evil Twin-TMBG
Dead man’s party-Oingo Boingo

My friend is trying to get me into all this electronica, but I’ve only dabbled in a little. Anyone ever heard of Swayzak, Jazzanova, Fischerspooner, Jesper Kyd, Talvin Singh, Air, Fugazi, Massive Attack, or Telepopmusik?

Audioslave- Gasoline, what you are, hypnotize, shadow on the sun

“Stuart” by the dead milkmen
“Bitchen Camero” by the dead milkmen
“Punk Rock Girl” by the dead milkmen

I’ve only heard of Massive Attack before. I think I have a Massive Attack remix somewhere…

I love massive attack and own Protection, Mezzanine, Blue Lines, No protection: massive attack vs Mad professor so far. Have heard of fischerspooner once and song is emerge, vh1 used it for their commericals a while back. Know theres a song by Talvin Singh think its called Jaan- Amar. Like Kelly watch the stars by Air, though haven’t looked further into them yet. I miss mtv’s amp show ;_;

I’ll just name a few of my latest favorites in no particular order

Cypress Hill - Latin Thugs
Metallica - Fade to Black
Iron Maiden - Children of the Damned
Machine Head - Imperium
Fear Factory - Archetype
Korn ft. Ice Cube - Children of the Korn
Metallica - Creeping Death

Actually, I was mostly talking about the Bon Jovi and APC stuff, but the rest of his list is mostly great too. The only metallica song he mentioned that I liked was Fade to Black, though.

And I never said I hated Iron Maiden. I just said I didn’t like their high-pitched whiney guitars and they’d be better if they had low, powerful ones that sounded like they could knock me over with bass, like APC does.

These are only sons from CDs I own, there’s plenty more stuff I like.
