While doing some looking around, I found a rather interesting article on the AFA (American Family Orgininization) about thier campaign up to 1992 (Would like some stuf on more recent actions as well.)
What I found most interesting was some of the stuff they attacked: CAptain Planet and Scooby Doo. While I dont’ like Captain Planet, what’s wrong with THAT?

Wow, that guy is really mested up if he really believes we need to censor all that. I could see a few shows, but Captain Planet? I mean the whole show was about not polluting and trying to get kids to care about the environment.
This is one of the most pathetic things i ever seen,This guy was not trying to censor TV,this guy is like “Or you put the programs i like or everybody goes to hell”
Here we have a sadly not rare enough example of penis maximus, someone so far up his own arse that the only thing he can see or hear are his own opinions, he is totally oblivious to the fact that no one gives a flying toss about the message he is trying to get across, and whose anal gases have completely obstructed any form of common sense he once had.

And I can not stand anything that has to do with Gaia! I could barely stand FF7 for this reason! (its other aspects more than made up for the Gaia-istic elements).
Definition of Gaiaism for this purpose: Considering the earth, or the ‘planet’ to be a more or less god-equivalent.
Further, the creatures in that show (Capt. Planet) are trying to pollute for pollution’s sake, which simply does not happen in the real world. You don’t pollute to pollute, you pollute because it is the byproduct of making or doing something else!
In any event, I was surprised that I did not see Bewitched or I Dream of Jeanie on that list.
