Basically, an immigrant was harassed in school because she slept with the captain of the football team. Harassed, stalked, abused and fucked with until she committed suicide. And it was so severe that these people are up in court.

But wait now, there are two sides to every story. It is really easy to conjure up the image of a bunch of kids tormenting another kid to the point of suicide. I’ve never seen anything like this happen in my school; although it is pretty small…actually we could probably fit everybody into the library if we wanted.
So lets get some facts straight:
She’s 15, which means she is probably a freshman
She had only been at the school for a year
Analysis:
Now I have been new to a school before, it was the worst experience of my life. It is not this way for everybody, the popular kids are popular no matter where they go. So here is this girl with no friends at all, and if you are an unattractive female in school the only way you are going to have real friends is if you were there in the beginning and built up some sort of camaraderie. It took me a while to look up the word camaraderie and I forgot where I was going with this paragraph.
The point is, this unrelenting bullying was probably just a few instances of people making fun of her for some dumbass reason, like the other girls calling her a slut for sleeping with the football captain (where did it say he was captain of the football team?). This was probably magnified by the fact that she probably did not have, if any, good friends. And also by the fact that he would probably be an upperclassman if he was captain of the football team (whatever the hell that is).
You know how it is, a guy sleeps with 3 chicks and he is a ‘playa’ a girl sleeps with one and she is a stretched out whore (in highschool anyway, I don’t know what it’s like in IRL).
Pretty much, not having friends in a new school alone could easily cause suicide. The later you move the worse it is.

That is one of the things that really cheeses me off about cyber bullying. They bring it on themselves.
The behaviour of the kids is pretty standard. The only thing I don’t get is the parents pressing charges like it was a murder or something. I can only guess the statutory rape charge was brought against the popular boy.
Something similar happened in my high school as well. Some grade 9 kid was so traumatized over the hazing higher grades bring on the freshmen that he hung himself a couple months into the school year. There was an article in the paper but nothing was said about charges being laid.
This is just indicative of the pussification of America.

People are overlooking the fact that Massachusetts and New York are the two biggest states of assholes in the US.
I mean, it happened in the state with the most Irish immigrants and Irish population in the US – if you start spitting on your own kind, then you can’t be anymore of an asshole.
