Smoking...

Every man dies. Not every man truly lives. plays some bagpipes

I just hate them, and they should all die.

Uh…buh… um… zuh… explodes

You, my friend, are an idiot.

Christ Setz. We know that. I was being sarcastic. You’ve posted like 10 or more times stating the same stuff basically. We heard you.

Hey, fuck you. My smoking has few side effects towards you. If the smoke bothers you, ask me to move or just leave. No reason to threaten my life any more than I am.

And CH, I know - people don’t generally add harder drugs to weed unless it’s asked for - like you said, it’s more expensive. A gram of weed is about twenty dollars, while a gram of chronic (marijuana mixed in with cocaine) goes for about 30.

twenty fucking dollars for a gram?! Jesus man, it’s $10 here, and that’s Canadian money.

Well, I don’t buy mids, I only buy dank - and 20 bucks gets you a gram of dank. So meh.

Yeah, I wasn’t arguing with you Sorc, I just used your post as a base.

i wouldnt go so far as to say all smokers should die, but i have many negative comments towards the topic of drugs and so on

I don’t think drugs are so bad. If you can manage to do it responsibly (And though I hate to admit it, some can), then you deserve to have the privledge. As long as they are mindful of the others around them and their feelings on them, I think it’s not so bad.

That being said, I, personally, have never smoked.

Hey, fuck you. No thanks

My smoking has few side effects towards you. It has impact on the environment, and if my science classes are correct, contributes to the Ozone problem.

If the smoke bothers you, ask me to move or just leave. Please leave.

No reason to threaten my life any more than I am. Touche.

Wow. No thanks. How absolutely witty.

And out of curiosity, how does it affect the ozone layer?

Why are you trivializing what I’m saying by renaming me “Smoker Dude”?

Furthermore, I think the Ozone problem comes more from the mass amount of cars that roam the streets rather than cigarette smoke. I don’t really think Aerosol cans are a big deal wither.

Lastly, If someone is smoking and the smoke floats over to the non-smoking section or something, then ask to be reseated, or if you’re outside then ask them to put it out or just move away. I mean, seriously, it isn’t that hard. There’s no reason to be a dick - we’re people too, just be polite. Damn.

The thing is though, is most people can’t do them responsibly, junkies will do anything for their next fix, and this creates a ton of crime as try to get money for drugs. Pot is probably an exception since it’s not viciously addictive.

Don’t ask me, I pay little attention in class. I’m guessing it’s because of the CO2 being emitted from the cigarrette, and that uh… floating to the uh… fuck it, I can’t explain.

Why are you trivializing what I’m saying by renaming me “Smoker Dude”?

Sorry. ; . ;

Actually, it’s the sulphor dioxide that does more damage than the CO2.
And while smokers themselves don’t bother me, the smoke fucks up my throat somehow, not sure exactly how or why, but it does. Fortunately, we now have smoking bans in public places here :).

I wish I knew that.
I really like science, too.
It’s not Haiku day.

Exactly.

And if you’re worried so much about the ozone then don’t ever get behind the wheel of a car, get a permit, license, etc.

I don’t believe cigarettes give off so much CO2 - or any other chemical compound that I know of - that it’s a major concern. Industrial products and factories, along with cars, are much more of a danger to our environment than cigs.

For real… cigarettes destroying the ozone layer? I hadn’t heard that before. There are much bigger things to worry about there.

I don’t remember who spoke about it before, but it was something about how there aren’t carcinogens in marijuana and there are tons of them in tobacco (I think). Whether you smoke tobacco or marijuana, you’re still taking carcinogens into your body - that’s just from the burning of the joint or the cigarette. Breathing smoke from burning things isn’t good for you regardless. That’s part of the reason why a lot of people are trying to develop drugs containing THC for people with cancer, eating disorders, whatever… none of the carcinogens from burning something, consistent dosing (which you DON’T get from buying weed wherever), and yes, more control over the production and distribution of a controlled substance (whee!).

I’m not judging here, but I don’t want people to live under misconceptions about how good or bad something may be. I work on inhaled pharmaceutical products (as a bunch of you already know), so I hope I know my stuff.
