Indeed… What the hell? I ain’t blowin’ nutin’ on no skin.
They don’t work. They just trap miniscule air bubbles between the disc and the skin and make them unplayable. 
Just checked that site the other day from seeing the commerical a few times. Great thing if it works, especially for me since I’m terrible to almost all my cds. =\
