Six Killed at Zombie Party.

In my mind those were probably fall back points. If he got swarmed that’s where he’d run to and pick off more zombies.

As for vampire or werewolf I’d go with vampire. Vampires don’t inadvertantly destroy their material possessions in an animalistic rage.

No, they jsut might destory them if their bloodlust grows too high. Not much better, in my view. Atleast as a werewolf, there’s a SLIGHT possibility you’ll be able to live without causing premature death among everyone. With Vampires, it’s pretty much a certainty.

Besides, modern-day vampires suck. Real old legends of them speak of them being little more than just zombies - creatures come back from the dead to feast on the living. The whole “Rape metaphor” zombie hasn’t been around for more than three hundred years, I think.

Its funny how everyone is joking about this, considering that amongst the dead was a 14 year old girl. Ha ha ha ha ha!

Where does it say one of them was 14?

Yeah, but we didn’t KNOW any of them, so it’s funny. There’s no point in getting sad over every little death, but poking fun at stuff like this can be tons of fun. Call me what you will, but this amuses me.

_Jeremy Robert Martin, 26, died of a gunshot wound to the chest. The only resident of the Capitol Hill home where the shooting took place to be identified as a victim, Martin was a musician and a wine salesman. He worked at Madison Market, a food cooperative.

_Suzanne Thorne, 15, gunshot to head. Attended the party with her 18-year-old boyfriend. Her mother, Nancie, told The Seattle Times she did not approve of her daughter going to raves.

_Jason Travers, 32, gunshot to head. Friends and family described him as gentle and a good listener. Born and raised in Albany, N.Y., he was a vegan, opposed to war and a sometimes-Unitarian. Worked at Madison Market with Martin.

_Justin Schwartz, 22, shot in the torso and neck. A native of Bethel, Alaska, Schwartz described himself as Eskimo. But people often mistook him for Asian, and he went by the nickname “Sushi.” He wrote on his blog of his love for the rave scene, adding, “I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8-year-old again.”

_Melissa Lynn Moore, 14, shot in the chest and head. Her father said she loved to dance and meet people. He trusted the older friends with whom she attended raves.

_Christopher Williamson, 21, shot in the chest and head. His mother and friends said he was trying to get out of the rave scene because he had been doing too many drugs. Recently completed rehab. Friend James Winn told The AP that “Better Off Undead” was to be his last rave, a goodbye party of sorts. “He wanted to get on the right track. He was being responsible,” Winn said.

As you can see, a 14 year old girl and a 15 year old girl died. Not to mention the other four people.

Uhhh, I don’t really see anyone here being ‘haha’ about this. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey curtis a bunch of infants just died because they were stillborn and I’m guessing about 20+ teenagers suicided why not go say something about that thx.

Oh, okay. So making a thread about six people being killed, most of whom were under the age of 25, and then making jokes about how the gunman thought he was killing zombies, because it was a ‘zombie’ party, and that now zombies are going to take over the world, isn’t ‘haha’.

Whatever. I guess I just don’t have any sense of humor.

Get a grip. We’re just discussing our views on what would happen if zombies attacked. besides, humor is a way with dealing with sad events. I’m not saying that’s what’s going on ehre, but just keep it in mind.

Steve: Well, you’re not joking about stillborn infants. Perhaps you would like to?

No one is laughing at the fact that six people died. They are laughing because it is odd that it was at a zombie party. People like to find humour in things that they are worried about, it makes them feel better.

Okay, to settle the whole “vampire vs werewolf” query:

Mentally, vampires have the advantage. Werewolves almost always revert to purely animalistic insticts upon transformation, whereas vampires retain some sense of restraint, except in terms of blood. In terms of weaknesses, however, the werewolf only has to deal with transformations and silver. Vampires, on the other hand, have to deal with countless weaknesses, including an aversion to water, crucifixes, sunlight, fire, stakes, and blood thirst.

Now, for the main topic. I’m wondering just WHY they decided to have a zombie rave, but otherwise, I feel sorry that a crime this gruesome and idiotic occurred. The guy was either mentally ill or high on something, but I still feel sorry that those people had to get in his way.

d: Actually, Werewolves have a weakness to fire, too. It’s like I always say: There are few supernatural creatures that can’t be bested by fire or shotguns. Really. Actually, the same can be said for msot living things, too.

If the guy was messed up, I don’t think you’d even call it a “crime,” Gall. Maybe a tragedy, but not a crime.

Maybe. Who knows? This is the Internet, 90% of what goes on here is a joke anyway, so I guess I have no reason to get upset.

That’s the spirit, Curtis! Besides, if you get upset about everything like this that happens, you’d never be happy.

It’s still a crime. It’s jsut the level of culpability that’s arguable, actually. He probably would count as insane, so he can’t be held accoutnable for his actions. Moot point, since he’s dead, though.

I’ve done it before, I’d probably do it again.

Well, what’s the point of having svereal threads about people dieing with 100+ replies just going “omg how horrible my condolences”? I think that’s obvious, there’s not really much to say about that.
and remind me not to dress up as a zombie. I’d totally live on as a vampire though. Werewofl though… meh, I don’t know. I like silver jewellery way too much. Then again, I could always go for the fake things.
