Simple Suggestion

I think all incidents of user in the chat rules should be changed to person. Simply because as it stands people are saying it’s perfectly fine to do harass a person behind their back because they aren’t online and therefore aren’t a user. These rukles should apply to everyone not just the people who use the chat.

We’ve had this “discussion” in the chat already, bringing it to the boards won’t help matters.

The Orak-bashing is pretty stupid, I agree. However, it was a harmless joke. If we’d ban that we might as well close down the chat, since a big chunk of the conversation is about badmouthing celebrities or whatever.

Orak is neither staff, a regular, or even registred. Therefore, it is completely out of our jurisdiction.

Someone registred Orak’s name. While that’s kinda stupid, it’s basically his name now. Nothing noone can do about it.

If Orak did come around, it would go under rule #2 (overly attacking), not rule #7 (account tampering). However, he comes around about as often as Maquiladora, so it doesn’t really apply. Although the ops kill the “bashfests” if they go on for too long, or are just stupid.

Basically, stop grossly misinterpreting the rule. It’s there to avoid account-stealing, not to prevent people from talking trash about someone who was last seen 6 months ago, who is no longer the owner of his name and is completely out of our jurisdiction.
