Secret of Mana DS

Does Cartdridges have loading times?

No

I was under the impression that the DS was going to have disc compatability. And I even mentioned I’ve not played a DS. However, some cartridges do have loading times, but I’m at a loss of an example right now. Didn’t the N64 have loading times? Sorry if I’m way off, but I haven’t like Nintendo from the start, and never really owned anything better than a Gameboy Color. :stuck_out_tongue:

No.

No.

No.

Yes.

Thanks. I must have been confused with something else. And your first “no” doesn’t make sense. I was under the impression that it was going to have disc capability. You don’t control what I hear and think… or do you?

A new cartridge works better than an old cartridge. It could affect the speed of the game. So, it is similar to loading times.

Don’t be so quick to negate. Some cartridges do have loading times. Look at Street Fighter Alpha 2 for Super NES. I don’t know why you’re being so defensive, he’s not knocking the DS, or anything else.

And the DS doesn’t use cartridges, it uses something closer to an SD card for a digital camera.

As for Arc the Lad, it’s coming for PSP. It’s kind of made by Sony, so it’d have to be on PSP (though it did make an appearance on Bandai’s Wonderswan).

Cartdridge games usually hardly have a loading time =P

There are basically no real loading times on the DS. Setz fails, everybody else wins.

Cool. I want to see how the new game is too. I hope it’s better than Twighlight of the Spirits. They should have kept the squares.

Anyway, if they do remake SoM for the DS, I want to see more spells! =D

But it took long enough to level up the spells you had… ;-_-
