I don’t see what the big problem it is with you dudes and XG. It’s incredibly easy.
Yeah, I got stuck in it too. >_>s\

You know I never realized about Vanderkaum’s counterattacks? I always just pounded away on him with little regard to myself. Strangely, I won every time. It was always a close match, but I did always win.
Xenogears is pretty long. The characters that are important will show up over and over, so just pay attention to them. Characters like Margie (and most people you meet in Nisan) are unimportant, but not completely irrelevent. The game is pretty long, and you do meet a lot of one timers (like that guy at the beginning of the second disc). A lot will happen that you aren’t going to understand because the game just doesn’t explain a lot in the game until the second disc. Just keep that in mind, and a great deal will be explained in the second disc and just kind of roll with everything.
Well that’s a relief. I thought that it was partially just me not being able to pick up on subtle hints and link events together. Which is still happening…but I guess I’ll pick up more during the second disc then.
Oh, you’ll LOVE the second disc
Just as long as you aren’t too much in love with the gameplay, that is (Not that it’s very good to begin with). Disc 2 is an awesome graphic novel, but sometimes you forget that you were playing a game.
Yeah, really.
I spent like, 2 hours playing once and I had actual control for all of maybe 3 minutes if that.
I like both, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. As long as I get my answers, because I have soooo many questions as to who those creepy guys are, and what Citan is doing with an emperor And much much more.
You’ll figure that out eventually, just play trough it calmly and most of everything will make perfect sense in due time.
