Actually, Leah is the mother of Ayla. Beat the game with Leah in your party. Leah is also the winner of a beauty contest; neat, huh?
I read that Leah was actually the ancestor of Ayla, since Leah has a tail and Ayla doesn’t 
you know, the whole evolution thingy. Hehe. It’d take years to lose that thing.
but i thought chrono cross was 20 years after the chrono trigger.

Um it is. But not all of its characters are from that era, silly. Trigger, Cross, times and dimensions? Get the difference? 
Lots of eras and time pockets to find your characters.
By the end, I use Serge and Leena and Miki. Earlier on I have no real preference.

Chrono Cross was amazing with it’s ability to weave together many many timelines and peeps. Shame about the final conversation on the beach (you know the one).

One thing I always missed, everytime I played the game, was Poshul. Always. Until I FINALLY remembered to pick him up at the start. Silly doggy. >_>
Poshul’s a She. No pink two tailed lisped male dog would ever call Serge (then named Kashel in my game at the time) “Kashely”. It’s a She dude.
Speaking of Poshul, does anyone else here say “Poshushu” at least once a day like I do? It’s a very bad habit. I just uh, say it to my dog a lot.

it means Leah couldn’t have been Ayla’s mom because Lucca would not have been born yet.
