If you want the most generic kart racer ever check out that Banjo Kazooie racing game.

yeah I figured that, but I haven’t played a racing game in so long, and I think it would be sweet to play one while on the bus or something while listening to metal.

I’ll have to check out the mario kart and f-zero ones… and that rock n roll racing. Didn’t blizzard make that?

I’d go with either Mario Kart: Super Circuit or one of the F-Zero games.
