Hey, i was wanting to post the first chapter of my FFXI fanfic on here, but it’s all messed up. It’s almost like it make it all one big paragraoh(almost).
How do i post here without re-typing the whole thing using tags ?
Not that i’m lazy or anything…
Highlight all the text, then copy:control and c, and paste: control and v. Paste where you want the text to go.
I did that, but when i went to preview post, it looks like it turned it into one giant paragraph when i pasted it. Nothing was indented, like conversations and new paragraphs.
Indents don’t carry over unless you use the &nb thingy.
&nb thingy ?
Simple (but possibly time-consuming) way? Empty line underneath each paragraph.

It takes up more space, but it’s how I always do it when posting stories online. Indents are just too much fuss.
I’m not even going to bother posting Fanfic here anymore. Only one person read the one i did, and only 17 people bothered to view it. Less than that if you subtract mine.
Dude. Don’t let that discourage you. The only people who read the only fanfic I ever wrote for this site were Mabatsekker ('cos he’s in it) and Weiila ('cos she’s kinda forced to).
Write anyway, post anyway, someone’ll take notice someday.
Okay, i guess i’ll post chapter 2… I’ll do it like Lunar said, so you dont have to d-load a document…
I save my stories in HTML format, then if I want to post them on a forum I just open them in Notepad and copy-paste it all over here, thus retaining my formatting.
