How to you apply a patch to a rom. I knew how to do that, but I forgot,
Rename the patch file to match the file name of the ROM, and stick it in the same folder as the rom itself. At least, that’s what SHOULD work.
So for example-
Game.irc
Game.scm
Yeah, that should work.
odd I am trying to put that patch on and it looks like this:
Hot.irc
Hot.scm
What am I missing?
Val’s instructions only work for the autopatcher in Zsnes.
I’m not sure what extension .irc and .scm are for, but nevertheless, you need a program that reads the changes in the one file onto the other. Perhaps you could find one on Zophar’s Domain
SNESTool will patch the ROM for you. Like he said, you can find it at Zophar’s Domain.
