How do I view flash or shockwave files that aren’t already uploaded onto a website?
See, I got sent a shockwave file from a friend, and I can’t open it. And I have the latest versions of both Macromedia Flash and Shockwave players. I dug through the files, but I can’t seem to find any kind of player in itself. Do I need a special player?

Open with < Browser >.
If its FLA, you’ll need to have him export it to SWF, 'cause you can’t open FLA without the actual flash program.
That did open the file, but I got an “ERROR” message. Is there someplace specific I should put the file, or is the problem with the file itself?
