I’m never gotten stiffed from eBay, mostly because Paypal gives you receipts, and because I only bought stuff from e-shops selling on eBay, rather than individual sellers. Check how much positive feedback a seller has before even bidding.

Well I’ve used ebay and paypal for several international orders, from Hong Kong at furthest. I’ve never been swindled, although one guy was unable to send the item I bought because he didn’t have it, but I was refunded. You should also check seller reputations and stuff like that.
