Almost had my entire leg come off in this freak accident involving a industrial-style meat slicer.
Well, let me tell you this, I once got my right ankle badly twisted in the middle of a PE class and for over three weeks the pain was so excruciating I could barely walk. It swelled up and looked like a huge potato for the first weeks, and even when the swelling was gone, the slightest touch in the area almost made me jump. I had to wear a sticky bandage as well, and even though it eased the pain by keeping everything in place, you can guess what happened when it was taken off… Ouch! Thank God that’s over…

The worst injury I’ve ever had is a rock falling from 30 odd feet in the air onto my head. Granted, it’s not very bad but I’m not accident prone at all.
Glue the knife to your hand: That way you can’t drop it, and you’ll automatically get a neat nickname like Ave “Knife-Hand” Destron.
I haven’t had a lot of serious accidents in my life; cut my fingers a couple of times, of course, like everyone else, but the only threathening injuries I’ve suffered haven’t been accidents.

tried that once. didn’t work.
I stabbed myself in the webbing between my thumb and index finger when I was trying to open an orange juice container back in 1st grade… The uh… little cap holder-oner was tough…

Anyways, The power went out (Mom had like 50 appliances going at once, “Gee…why did that happen” thud), and i went to the lil switch to turn it back on…Mum had recently painted around that area…and had painted the lil door shut!
So off i goes, i gets me a sharp knife…Try n slice it open so i can continue making some food Few seconds later, Im bleeding all down the hallway screaming various things, mainly things about my mother being a whore
I cut my middle finger a fair way through…I still have the scar, and cant wear rings on that finger…The scar kinda made it a one way trip…can stick em on, cant take em off

Ouch! Ehe… I have a scar on my left elbow from one of those “DAMN! that was stupid” episodes.
Me, sis and a friend were in a hotel room, watching TV and next to/behind me on the table were a few glasses. We changed the channel and saw this woman doing a hight jump while lifting her arms (bent) and then bringing them down quickly again. I thought it looked to stupid, I did it, too (still sitting, though).

I looked behind me only to find that the glass was still standing. With a rather nasty looking point sticking right up into the air. So I looked at my elbow and went “er…” in confusion. <i>That’s</i> when it started hurting.
