A little romance in the story always helps. Romance and tortured bishonen seem to be the most popular bases for character development (It worked well in FF8 at least).
But what I want to say is: DRAGONS. Everybody likes dragons. So put dragons in.
I’ve seen a lot of RM2k games, and this one looks AWESOME!
One thing you might wanna bear in mind…I’m 99% sure that the sprite you’re using for Emrys is a female sprite. o_O
If you need some good new charasets, make one. Look here.
One more thing…as long as we’re plugging, search for my name at gamingw.net. You should find a tutorial I wrote and posted on how to make a uber-simple stealing technique.
And this MUST be said; RPGMaker for Playstation SUCKS. And that;s putting it nicely.

Holy shit, I come back from school and this thread is two pages long and everyone is bugging me to finish it already! xD Yeesh people, I’ve just started. That is, I made demo version etc. two years ago already, just y’know, as a sketch. (Shalc and the others who played my demo probably saw that about 70% of the things mentioned above were missing and there were tons of dead files. Anyways:

Uh… what? o_O I searched for good resources and edited them if that’s what you mean. Except for the chipset(s), I give Mabo full credit for that.
I should be in it as Death, and should replace the default Game Over Screen.

Story: done. Maps: at the beginning, but that’s the least. Resources: done, except for the chips. Monsters: will be built up with the rest of the game. Items: Done, kinda. Will also build up, basic items are done. Battle animations/ Magic: Not done yet. THAT will be a bitch.

- The romance lies in the players hand. Depending on how you interact with the party members, you get multiple epilogues, as I said. Maybe I’ll also make an option that you can marry the catgirl- we’ll see…

There currently is a RPG in the making about a catgirl. But it’s in German.
