Lady: I’m glad you stayed around, and that you’ve taken our advice. Yes, growing up is painful. But it’s worth it.
Please keep in mind the fact that most of our members have had a lot of experience posting, so having to explain things to newbies is annoying to them.
(Then again, why don’t they just ignore newbies and let those of us with more patience handle them is beyond me.)
Anyway, I suggest that you don’t post too much yet; just hang around, watch how people react to particular topics (Warning: STAY AWAY FROM THREADS ABOUT POLITICS OR RELIGION!) and watch how particular individuals behave. Slowly but surely you’ll get to blend in.
