My monitor is acting up… the “pincushion effect”, where the image distorts like this: “)(“ kicks in automatically and I can’t get it off. Plus the image flickers from time to time. Is something fried on the inside or what?

EDIT: Wow, I just scrolled down the agora… it’s like being inside a hamster’s wheel… I’m dizzy…

LCD or CRT?

And just to give a general warning: Do not open it, even with the powercord unplugged. Screens can store voltages high enough to kill you, for weeks and maybe even months.
