It’s a soldier in Iraq. The image is from Yahoo!News. How embarassing. Now I know that those magazines and what not are read all the time in Iraq (even though you technically aren’t suppose to bring them over, at least my unit wasn’t allowed to), but it just sucks to have it posted all over the internet like that. I got nice little chuckle out of this pic.
This reminds me of that one thing on the Daily Show were Stephen Colbert interviews this guy who made a “Porno for the Army” website and stuff. It was hilarious.

I’d imagine that it would be hard to find a woman while stationed in Iraq, and common, pornography is what keeps our military going.

Yeah no kidding, they’re in an organization with no women, in a time where it’s no longer acceptable to rape civilians belonging to the opposite side. I would think this kind of stuff would be expected.

No surprise. I remember that in the first months of war, soldiers were allowed to talk to Playboy models and they could see the girls they were talking to on a screen.

I’m just saying it is sort of embarrasing to have it all over the net. However, there are women in the Army. It isn’t like they see no women period. In fact, the Army has some of the best looking women service wise (Air Force has the best). Also, it was never all right in America ot rape the women of the other side. Also, belive it or not, but when you are away and in a crappy situation, phone calls home mean MUCH more than seeing porn (fuck that “pr0n” shit, it’s gay using that word). Also, the reason I say embarassing is because there is always that joke of reading Playboy (yes I know this is Penthouse) for the articles, not the pictures.
Actually I HAVE read Penthouse and Playboy for the articles. They’re actually very interesting. Read them more often than I looked at the chicks.

Anyway, people don’t realize that those soldiers would be doing the same thing if they weren’t on Iraq, or even if they weren’t soldiers. Reading Playboy or Penthouse has nothing to do with all that’s happening there. Let them see some porn, they are as human as us.

Although Playboy does have the occasional excellent article.
