Note To Hrisskar

Has anyone ever found any use for this thing? I got it right at the start, and still kep it in my inventory… the MOST USELESS THING EVER!
Can you even use it for anything??

Ninten:cool:

P.S: What’s the most useless item you’ve ever found?

Ninten:cool:

Listing the name of the game might help.

The Suporma in Earthbound.

The Cloak of Darkness in Wizards and Warriors. THOU HATH WASTED MY FUCKING TIME!

That’s in…Morrowind right? I think I sold it for probably one piece of Gold or something.

Anyone in Parasite Eve knows about the stupid charms Maeda gives you and YOU CAN’T THROW AWAY! I don’t need something useless to use up space in my inventory, thank you very much.

You have to keep hold on the first one, or the last one, not sure. The rest, you can give to Kevin, or w/e his name was.

I agree with MK, PE had so many fucking useless itams.

You all fail.

The Angel Slayer sword in Valkyrie Profile.

The Angel Slayer? Who cares if it hits for miniscule damage most of the time? With a few of them equipped, you can take down Iseria Queen in about 5 turns.

EDIT: Bounced Checks in SO2.

But it still hits for minuscule damage most of the time. Although I was thinking more along the lines of the pain in the ass that is getting it, not to mention the fact that once you have it, there’s really nothing else to do unless you want to spend the rest of your life fighting Bloodbanes and the sort.

God, sorry!
Yeah, Morrowind

Tissues in FF7.

And the Chirrup Sandles in Shining Force 2.

The tissues show up on the inventory?

But they let you cast LV4 Higgins! Who wouldn’t want that ability?

I still say the Bounced Checks. I mean, they took away 1 FOL every second.

The Bounced Checks were a hazard involved with Reverse Side, they were a risk item, they fulfilled a purpose. An item doesn’t have to be good to have a purpose.

An damnit, we are all forgetting the king of useless crap:

EXCALIPUR

I always found that spells like Scan were useless. So was Beserk. I mean, if you use Scan, you still have to fight the enemy. It’s a waste of a turn. And Beserk… well, the only time I’ve used it is against Magimaster.

The Nethack lodestone, it auto curses when you pick it up, can’t be dropped until it is uncursed, and weighs a ridiculous amount.

Analyze (WA3’s scan) was very useful. Once you scanned an enemy, the information was permanently stored, and you could view the HP/information on any enemy of that type by pressing Triangle. VERY helpful for narrowing down enemy HP for Lucky Shot.

And should you ever play FF4, Berserk will be your greatest ally during certain battles. Just Berserk Cecil and let him take care of things.

Question on WA3. So, let’s say you Analyzed a Gob in the beginning of the game. If you encountered a Gob later in the game, you’d still have stats?

Yep. Just target it and press Triangle.

Even those serve a purpose, being a risk to people that pick up every single item they see.
