New computer

I’m gonna just list all the core parts for it, tell me of any compatibility issues there might be with it. Don’t tell me how to make it better, or anything like that, just tell me if it will actually work.
Total cost: Upwards of $1200 in USD, but I added about $20 to each purchase, and rounded up :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit 3: changed the processor and mobo, much cheaper. Hopefully within my $1000 limit

Edit: I will have money for this computer, btw. I’m getting my graduation money soon.

Edit 2: This will be a windows computer, as well. Unless I decide to partition a small part of the HD to Linux, but… meh.

giggle… and I know nothing about this

You might wanna get a stronger proccesor, if you plan on playing awesome games like Half Life 2. Around 1.5-2.0 GHz.

Otherwise, seems like a solid system.

Hahah… sweet, I managed to get the price itself with the monitor, case, keyboard, mouse, and EVERYTHING (including shipping) to under $1000

The Front-Side Bus is 800mhz, the processor itself is a 2.8 Ghz, NB.

Edit:

Case:

Keyboard:

Monitor:

That’s pretty sweet.
Mine’s only 2.0 ghz ;_;

NO HABLO INGLES.

Has anyone found any problems with what I’m getting, yet?
I think I’m pretty well ready to go in terms of compatibility, just gotta wait til I actually get my money.

Get an Athlon 64 or Opteron. They’re better.
