NeoPong Software developing RPG, contests up!

Well I haven’t got any particular ideas for the comp, but make sure you put a few joke weapons and armour in, they always add to an RPG.

links fixed.

I just had a FABULOUS idea: the Spoon Edge!

And that’s a BAD thing? I like it like that. It’s oldschool.
It’s kinda refreshing to see a game like that…the age of the SNES was the golden age of RPGs. It’d be nice to see RPGs returning to their roots.

Yeah, I’m currently brewing up a few ideas.

How about a Character called Merlin and He summons Pianos to fall?

Wait! RPGC has him. How about a Mysterus stanger who wears a red Cloak with hood?

Or a bard thats a bit spooney?

or An idoit that belives there is no thing as over kill?

or a Gun totting bloke with thing for explotions?

Blow it! Let’s Make a RPG about RPGC Members? Wait, there is one, where can i get it?

Hum, this indeed look interessting. I’ll spread this out around a bit. I like.

Addemtum: Seems like I have trouble registering on your boards, as well. Maybe I’m just a moron and mistyped my email(which should be crisilian@hotmail.com)

Addemtum 2: Big nooooooooo at the US-Only for the contest!

Ah, I see Ryu, my bad. >_<

I think that was tried. I vaguely remember something on the RPGC main site about one. Never seen hide nor tail of it since though.

Project DA looks kinda… well… old, like SNES-era.

The screenshot you saw is actually a prototype. Some of the graphics will be revamped, but make no mistake, it is our intention to develop much of the game with the old-school style and feel.

Addemtum 2: Big nooooooooo at the US-Only for the contest!

The contest rules do state that they are for U.S. residents only, but non-U.S. residents can still enter. There is one hitch, however: We can’t offer a free game as a prize to winners who are not U.S. residents. We are very sorry that this is the case, but certain legal liabilities prevent us from doing so. On the bright side, you will still get your idea put in the game, and also get credit for your idea.

So if you really want to enter, we encourage you to do so. We apologize for the inconvenience. Legal issues in this business can be a real pain, especially when crossing borders.

I might just start cooking up some ideas for this, but it’ll have to wait; The rules say you have to be 18 to enter, but I won’t be 18 til June.
