BTW, just WHAT is Equilibrium about? Not kidding, I haven’t seen it (or any of Merlin’s comments on it).

No-one can tell you what Equilibrium is. You have to see it for yourself. :stuck_out_tongue:

Maz; you mean Keira Knightly?:yipee:

Looks pretty good. There’s a sudden trend for historical epics now. Let’s hope it goes on.

And erveryone must go and read Bernard Cornwell’s ‘The Warlord Chronicles’ books (The Winter King, Enemy Of God, and Excalibur) right now. Best Arthur novelisations EVAR.

Dude… you can’t kill the Monty Python rabbit.
That just defies the laws of physics.

I spit Holy Hairball Grenades.

It’s this absolutely brilliant low-budget action movie that no one but cool people have heard of. It takes place in a dystopian future where mankind has given up their ability to feel emotion in exchange for peace and security from nuclear annhilation, crime, war, etc. There are obviously people resisting this change, so there is a group called the Tetragrammaton Clerics who are the enforcers of this society. They use a form of formalized gun “martial arts” called Gun-kata. Basically, every gun fight is found to be a statisticially probably phenomenan, so the overseers at Libria (the city) developed a fighting method based on maximizing kills while minimizing return damage; basically it’s a cool excuse for some fucking awesome gun fights. Anyway, the best Cleric in the Tetragrammaton one day misses his emotion-dampening drug shot, and starts to feel. He then has to come to grips with his own developing emotions (for the first time) and also eventually resist the city he’s supposed to protect. It r0x0rz j0r b0x0rz.

Also, for those of you who have seen Equilibrium, did you know that the Tetragrammaton is a real thing, it is actually the four letters that make up God’s name – YHWH.

Guinevere looks kickass. ^^ This is the first Arthur movie I’ve seen that has her doing anything besides looking pretty and lusting after Lancelot.

Hey its Mr. Movie voice guy.

Anyways, I hope I get to see that in theaters. Movies like that just don’t have the same effect on a tv.

It looks alright… I dunno if I’m gonna see it in theatres or not though.
