My speakers are making noises like i’m opening a link, the microsoft ding, and other computer noises. However this happens when I’m not doing anything. Every once in a while I hear commercials. I’ve run 4 different spyware scanners, and 4 different virus scanners with no results. An ad for that 70s show just started playing as I’m typing this.
What in gods name should I do, this is driving me crazy.
Do you use the official AIM client? It has a nice habit of playing those “ads” that appear at the top of your buddylist randomly. The “commercials” you hear makes me think that this is what is happening, heck, right now mine is playing a flash ad for the movie 666.

Yeah, it isn’t AIM. I thought it was at first, but then I noticed I didn’t even have AIM open. Could it be that I have a G-G-G-G-GHOST COMPUTER, or is there something else I can try?

Yes, it’s routed through well, a wireless router so I can use the internet in the basement. I’m using just a WEP encription.
I’m assuming that your cable connection works as mine does; it’s also used for the television. Perhaps frequencies got mixed up or some jazz.

Usually stuff like this happens from background apps you’ve got running, or weird plugins or whatever you installed in your browser. You should try shutting some stuff down when it happens again, and see if it affects anything. Make sure to remember the name of the service you shut down if it worked, and find out what that service does.
EDIT: Just for the record, I’m actually telling Setz to stop talking if he’s gonna pull random shit out of his ass. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination and mocking.
The weird thing is, when I do remove the program, it will come back about ten minutes later.
Huh, this might have something to do with it.
No offense man, but i really doubt some guy named “Red Materia” who lives in Oklahoma, and takes offense at you saying something about his wife has any idea how to log an IP. And even less of an idea of what to do with it once he got it. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Actually, after further thinking about it (read: people mocking you in the chat), I’m fairly certain that you’ve got a Trojan. If you can’t remove it and don’t know WHAT Trojan it is, start backing up your shit, Billy.

Yeah, after he sent me that, I thought he was just blowing hot air, then I started getting virus alerts. I thought I got rid of them all, however when I moved my computer from college, to back home, they all came back, this time a lot worse.
And yes I know what a trojgan is, and yes I backed my shit up. I wouldn’t have bothered my good friends at RPGclassics with a question unless I had tried everything 
For the record, red materia was talking about how his wife could get him out of speeding tickets since her boobs were so huge, then he started posting pictures of her, I then informed him that her boobs weren’t huge, rather she was just fat.
Was it certain sites that sent you those viruses and trojans maybe?
