I bought 3 boosters today. Booster 1…Promise of Power (bleh. Only thing noteworthy here was Lightning Greaves and Slagwurm Armor.) Booster 2, foil Bosh. Booster 3, Platinum Angel (and Spikeshot Goblin).
Platinum Angel + Lightning Greaves + Slagwurm Armor = I win.

Ok with equipment does the equipping go onto the stack so it would get resolved before a spell? Say someone Lightning Bolts your 3/3 Whateveryouwantittobethatisntprofromred would you be able to Equip Lightning Greaves on it as a response so that with no target the Bolt fizzles?

And strangely, the new layout doesn’t bother me too much anymore. I guess it’s because it fits in with Mirrodin’s new artificial theme. shrugs

Equipment can only be played and equipped at sorcery-speed.

Wouldn’t need Slagwurm armor if you just let the Angel sit there. Of course, that would leave it open to any nontargeted effects.
Incite War (With Entwine)+ Enough Flying Power > Platinum Angel + Lightning Greaves

Psh. You sacrifice a bit of card economy for an EXCELLENT tempo boost. Pitch a gold card. Hell, pitch the worthless Atogatog, and your mox is a diamond. That’s probably the only use for AtogAtog.
The jar would only save one of your freakish artifacts. Then the last one gets Detonate’d.
Or Shatterstorm, too bad it’s really old and I dunno if its restricted or whatever. Still, nuke all artifacts for 2RR and they cant regenerate is very anti-Mirrodin.
(that and out of the few ive named its the only one i dont have, at least that i know of)
