Is it possable to put music or audio files that you have on window’s media player on an MP3 player?
If they’re mp3 files. If they’re not mp3 files, then you’ll need to convert them.
Uh, yea? Just determine their location on your hard disk, then use whatever tool you use to transfer files to the MP3 to send them over. (from the directory you found them in). If WMP doesn’t come right out and tell you, just check the properties dialog for the song.
However, if its DRM locked, there may be restricitions on it. I don’t know the specifics of DRM, unless i knew where you got the music from, but this would only apply if you purchased it from an online “shop” (like itunes, the new napster, rhapsody…etc).
iRivers play WMA and MP3 files. But they only hold 128 to 256 megs so they’re limited space wise. But they also have an FM radio, a recording mic and a line-in recording mode.
Lots of MP3 players also play WMA formats. Just be sure to check the specs on the MP3 player that specifically says it plays WMAs. It’s a pretty popular feature now. The fact is: Microsoft really owns the market for formats. More people now are, unfortunately, using Windows Media Player and the WMA ripping feature. As such, to help capitalize on the market, more and more MP3 player manufacturers are adding the WMA feature.
People still use WMA? I thought that died shortly after the RealAudio fad.
WMAs seem to be getting more and more popular lately, Kero. Mainly because you can kill the quality of the music 1200 000 000%, but you save half a kb in disk space over MP3s!
Neuros, they play MP3, Ogg, WMA, WAV, and FM Radio, and they come with a 20GB HDD.
Okay I guess I’ll experiment with it then.
