Mono with Abnormally High Liver Enzymes

Buprenorphine doesn’t have as much of a euphoric high associated with it. I was rollerskating for the monthly drug court activity actually heh. I fractured my fibula and tore 1 or more (I can’t remember) ligaments (I think it was ligaments) on the opposite side

You tore your MCL (presumably) while rollerskating for a drug court activity and your doc tried to put your back on oxy? Doesn’t… he… like… know?

Yeah I told him (We have to tell all the doctors we see that we are on Drug Court and have a problem with addiction) and he said that it really wasn’t much of a choice whether or not we used narcotics. I haven’t mentioned buprenorphine yet I didn’t think of it while I was meeting with him

I guess some people feel better asking questions under the anonymity of the Internet than when faced with real people, even their doctors.

While we are on the subject, I’ve been having some weird symptoms myself, and I’m wondering if I should worry enough to ask my doctor about them. To wit: for the past year or so, my memory has been getting worse, in particular I suffer from tip-of-your-tongue syndrome (you know, when you KNOW what you want to say but can’t recall the exact word? While that’s not unusual it’s been happening too frequently and with stuff I should know by rote, like my phone number (new ones, not my old ones, I remember my social sec. number perfectly for example.)

Even stranger, I’ve been mistyping words, as if I were dyslexic, switching letters around and such, which I have never done before. As you know, I’m an epileptic, so I wonder if this could be symptoms of a deteriorating condition, or just my being paranoid (I AM almost 45 years old and I take medicine 2 times a day for the seizures, which almost never happen these days. Oh and my glasses broke months ago and I have yet to afford a new pair.) I also never eat fish or vegetables (cuz I hate them) and sometimes I worry I might be missing some important nutrient.

I don’t want to go to my doctor saying OH MY GOD I HAVE ALZHEIMER’S! or anything like that unless there’s a good reason to worry. So, opinions? And yes, I’m being serious.

I don’t want to push this thread too far, but I have a few problems of my own. You see, just recently I got a sore throat (sue me), now this is not ucommon at all. So basically what happens is the pain of it split and one side went to my stomach, while the other went into my sinuses and now I am pretty much over it, but this happens all the time. What is it? It always starts in one place and moves to another over the course of 3 days. Now I haven’t talked to my doc or anything yet, but I would like to get an opinion here first. Also, my back is pretty funked up lately. I went to a doctor for it and he says I might have some mild scholiosis! WHAT THE FUCK! Am I really genetically inferior? I was thinking this actually might be because of the way I carry my backpack, I put it over just my right shoulder (looks cooler) and it usually ways twenty or more pounds. Could all the years of looking too cool for school give me schooliousis?

The clinic is no longer accepting new patients.
