I didn’t know if this should be in the Main Forum or the VG Forum, but what the hell.
The first thing that came to my mind was: Wouldn’t it be hilarious if new Halo games started appearing on the Wii now?
Calling it right now, first thing they make is a Myth remake/sequel for the Wii. Or some other console, whatever, but its going to be Myth.
Good, the Wii could use some more awesome 3rd party games.

Bungie jsut went independent, but it won’t really change the games they make. They will still make games primarily for MS, if not only for MS. Bungie even said that gamers won’t notice a difference. As for Bungie games appearing on another system, that won’t happen since MS is a majority share holder.
Also MS retained the rights to Halo, so I doubt we’ll be seeing it on anything other than an xbox platform.

I would love to play Halo on the Wii. I don’t think MS would have anything to lose in actually porting Halo to the Wii. In fact, they’d learn how to make games for the Wii and use its technology and could develop things with it later on, like how Sony stole the rumble from Nintendo. I think its more Nintendo that wouldn’t allow MS on its turf.
If Bungie made another sequel to Myth and marketed it to the masochistic communities they’d rake in so much money they would be able to take over Microsoft.
So now I can go play a game I hate on other consoles, only not, because MS is going to keep Halo exclusive? Good to know.
