Who was able to survive the torture and not submit? How did you do it? I always fail at the last possible millisecond. Any advice?
I never had a problem with it myself. Dunno if there’s any trick to it.

What difficulty are you playing on? I was barely able to survive on Hard, and I haven’t played Extreme before.
raises hand I survived. Put your middle finger on your index finger, put your controller on the table or somewhere else and…button-mash like you’ve never done before! :hyperven: That worked for me.
EDIT: looking at something else other than the screen helps, too. I used that strategy against Hippaul in FFIX, in the later levels. That’s some crazy stuff. You’ll grow muscles after that. I don’t know why, but Japanese games often have button-mashing sessions…
