I’m trying to find a media player that will allow me to open a subtitle track that is a seperate file from its respective video. I can’t find an option for it in ZPlayer, MPlayer, or Windows Media Player, and the when I try to use the option for it in Media Player Classic, I get an error message before I can even select a file.
I use VLC media player to do that, it seems to work well enough.
(Put the movie and subtitle file in the same folder, with same filename except extension, and VLC automatically applies it when it runs.)
