Whoah. I bought some McDonalds for breakfast today, and I just realized, what the fuck are they doing?! I haven’t had McDonalds in a long time, nor will I ever again. The prices are incredibly high, and the Bacon Cheeseburger I bought, it has wierd mushy soft pecks in it… the meat was a bit discolored too!
I regularly don’t eat more than a handful of food for 48 hours at a time. I lost 15 pounds over the weekend. I was also sick the rest of the week. I never ate much.
I prefer Burger King as well, but I had some Gift Certificates for McDonalds, and I didn’t want them to expire/not get used.
I like the taste of McDonalds, for some of their items, like the fries, and uhm… yeah, the fries; but the price is too much.
I mean, there’s this place near my school, it’s so fucking awesome. They cook the shit right in front of you. I mean, the stove/fryer is like, 10 feet away from the bar-counter. Hamburgers cost $2.25, without tax. No tax is put on, in this place; don’t know why; and fries cost $2.00 for about the same amount as a Large Fry from McDonalds. It’s fucking awesome… but my friend got food poisoning from there. D:
That place is pretty pricey if you ask me (McD’s burgers are like …less than a dollar :P) and food poisoning means the cook’s not sanitary or doesn’t cook the food well :P. It doesn’t matter if its done in front of you and its not well done. No pun intended.
Damn, you got ripped off. In the closest Mcdonalds to me that would cost less than $10. That Mcdonalds doesn’t have bacon double-cheeseburgers though, I’ve never seen any that do.

This one does, but I didn’t get one, because I didn’t want to split another five.
Is this about the food-poisoning? Or some rumors about McDonalds employees which most times than not, are true? Like those dudes who pissed in the burgers, before giving them out? Was a while back.
I have the unfortunate demise of having to eat McDonalds more often than most people, simply because with my schedule, I get home from my co-op and go to work, no time to make a supper. And of course, there’s the McDicks right in the store. I have gotten in the habbit of going to Subway more often now, in the foodcourt in the mall (Can’t get there and back on a 1/2 hour lunch at christmas time, it’s all the way up the mall). But since the store is moving out of the mall soon, I guess I’ll be buying some frozen dinners more often.
McDonalds, on one hand, is a massive consumerist empire that relies mostly upon product names, even to children, to sell it’s product. This makes it evil. The other hand, it’s food which is for the most part non-poisonous, and pretty cheap. That isn’t evil.
