May

Review
This movie is by far one of the best I’ve seen.

I couldn’t understand any of it. Something about some evil doll.

Man, neither of my friends understood it either.

To May, the doll is real. It moves and speaks. The blind children end up destroying her doll, so what does she do? Makes another. This time she wants her to really be able to move and think. She ended up killing all the people, as you saw. She loved their parts because they were, as she said, perfect. Polly, I believe, is the one who said it best. “People are best shown by their one imperfection,” or something like that. That’s why she took her imperfect eye, and their perfect parts, and gave it to the doll. She, of course, ended up dying as a result, but she also succeeded in making her friend come to life. Giving the doll one imperfect part, compared to the rest of the perfections.

I passed this up in the theaters. I’m now kicking myself, thanks to you. It actually looks good. Wierd, but good.

I still don’t get it. Maybe I’m just dum.:fungah:

God, the irony is almost painfully hilarious :stuck_out_tongue:

You mean me mispelling “dumb”? I mispelled that on purpose.

Okay, I believe you, but let’s get back to the point of the thread.
My loving the movie May
“I mean… I left home and he had 4 legs… but I got back and… and… he only had three!”

Ok, that movie looks wicked. I’m into that sinister disturbing stuff and as long as the animal-intestine scenes are toned down, I will do whatever I can to see this movie. And the woman who plays May was pretty cool in the tv remake of Carrie.

Oh hell yeah it rocks.
She’s a vet and there’s a bit of gorey animal parts and descriptions. Could be a problem for you.

Yeah I have a weak stomach for animal gore…call me lame, but it’s just an issue I have with horror movies. Oh well it still sounds cool I’ll have to watch it with someone who doesn’t get grossed out easily.

If Merl likes it, I’ll look into it. But not because you like it, steve. cuz your opinions mean NOTHING TO ME!!!

And we should care because? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve never heard of the movie, but the review made me curious. I might buy it.

Ooooooooh… Looks like a good movie. must find

Yup, I’ve seen this one before. It was rather… how should I say it? New?

It was rather KICK ASS :stuck_out_tongue:

I haven’t seen it, but my mom rented this fucked up independent movie called rules of attraction once, and there was a preview! I REALLY WANT TO SEE IT!

<img src=“http://free.inkfrog.com/pix/DanteCole/DanteCole2.gif” width=45 height=80>Yet another movie I should see. And all else I’ll say is ‘Thank god he stopped the pink.’

This thread was before my change :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
