Making AMVs

Does anyone here have any experience in making AMVs? If so, could you direct me to some useful tools and what not?

Steeeeeeeeeveeee.

Adobe Premiere 6.0 or 6.5 or Adobe Premiere CS. (Whatever you can get your hands on easiest)
<a href=“http://voxel.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.6.1.zip”>Virtual Dub</a> for any minor after-effects.
Windows Movie Maker if you have XP or ME and don’t wanna be A) a pirate or B) broke.
There’s also Ulead Videostudio, but I don’t like that one too much… it’s got a very cumbersome interface that’s not as user-friendly as I found adobe premiere to be.

Thanks Steve.

Always glad to help.
and I’ll tell you what i tell everyone when they first use premiere: don’t be overwhelmed. i figured out how to use it quick enough.

I hate windows movie maker…it always seems to gay out the resolution.

You can customize it to all hell in the newer version of it, so I don’t see why you’re bitching.
Edit: <a href=“http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx”>Here</a> is a link to where you can download Movie Maker 2.1 if you have XP

I’ve got an Idea on how, yet I’ve never used it.

I’d personally keep away From MGE or now called Roxio VideWwave. Verstion 3 will not Let sound go though 3 Clips in to a fourth, which Makes a Music Vid V Harder, (Like Pulling Teeth).

There are Several Digital Video Mags in the UK, all reputiple ones have Cover CD/DVD’s and some times Full Versions of great software, I’d scan them And find some cheep ones and a nice read as well.

My dad has a Pinicale Video Editor, I use that if I want to do an AMV.

Steve: Broken Link.

Big Nutter
All my 3D software is off same mags Cover CDs (Differnt issues over a few years). (BN Cover cd king?)

You can check out some of the posts over at http://www.animemusicvideos.org

It’s a pretty friendly and helpful community. Hope that helps =)

Eh, sorry but I couldn’t make one if my life depended on it.
