is great. Got the deluxe edition thing w/ d and trading cards.
Looks great. Sounds great. Started out different, but hasn’t made me vomit like the last Lunar game.
I won’t name it. It knows what it did.
Anyone else get it?

Is this a new game or a rerelease? And what system is it for? I’m a huge Lunar fan as well
PSP remake of Silver Star Story.
I watched my roommate play it. There’s really nothing to see here, besides the new intro. The translation isn’t as good as the WD version (even though I’m aware that some lines were taken directly from the WD version, a lot of the new lines are really awkward). I’d say, play the Playstation version over this one.
I havent played the PS version, just the Lunar Legend and the original Sega game. But I really like this so far. I wouldn’t judge it until it was actually played, instead of from what I saw from someone else playing.
I was under that impression. I think even if and when I do get it and I like it, I’d still prefer the PS version, cos like you said, the translation, and also the nostalgia behind it for me. I remember following the game as close as possible the whole year or so it was delayed, then feeling like a kid at christmas when I got the pre-order demo, then spending the whole weekend, literally in my room playing through it.
My biggest problems are that the dialogue isn’t as good as the PSX version (which I don’t need to physically play to see), and that the game on the whole is much easier than the PSX version. I’m not saying that Silver Star Harmony is an awful game; what I AM saying is, there’s not much reason to play it if you own (or can get your hands on) the PSX Version.
Unfortunately, my copy of the Playstation version has apparently become too scratched and in bad shape to play ever again (found out from a friend I lent it to to play), so I’ll never get a chance to really experience that joy again. Mostly because as much as I love this game, there is no game in the entire world worth shelling out $80 for a used copy online for. Ever.
Side note, when I first heard about this, I showed it to a friend who loved Lunar. Who promptly called me several hilarious names, then informed me he just pre-ordered a game for a system he doesn’t even own.
You guys should simply download the PS1 versions of Lunar 1 and 2 by WD and play them on your PSP, imo.
And if one doesn’t have a PSP?
Emulate? Unless your computer is veeery old, PSX emulation isn’t that much of an issue.
I played the demo a couple of weeks back and directly compared it with the PS1 version. Yes they have revamped everything except the cut scenes but for some reason the first dungeon is a lot shorter in the new version.
