Frankly, I LOVE Pokemon. Those who can look past all the hype and corniness will discover a damn good RPG with insane amounts of replay value and a metric assload of strategic elements.
I have never been put off by a game beacause it’s “kiddy”.
Though I still refuse to play Kingdom Hearts, but that’s just beacause I don’t like disney. :hahaha;
Seems like they judged the games just on their cartoony appearance and nothing more. Pokemon, though, is completely a kiddy game. I regret having owned it, as thinking back, it was complete crap.

Ryan, GG didn’t miss the point of the topic, his reasons for not playing Kingdom Hearts aren’t that he thinks the game is kiddy, but rather he doesn’t like Disney, which is perfectly acceptable.
No one has mentioned The Adventures of Cookie and Cream. That game is great. Fucking hard, too.
Bah, Pokemon’s alright as a game. Perfect time waster, too. As for kiddies game…I think everything has been saide up now, dont really have much more to add, really.

The only thing wrong with or childish I’ve ever heard about Zelda: WW was the graphics were cartoonish.

Pokémon is kiddie just because of the TV show. My 7-year old brother and 10-year old brother have had copies of the game since about a year after the first installments came out, and 90% of both of them have been played by either me or my 15-year old brother.
