Intellectual property isn’t really property, but internet laws aren’t really laws, so it’s pretty fitting.
Okay … how do you define “laws” and “internet laws” so that the latter does not fall under the former?
Same with “property” and “intellectual property”; I’ll go out on a limb and say that people who say “eh, intellectual property, whatever” have never had a copyrightable idea that they’d want to copyright so that other people couldn’t make money off it without their permission, or steal it (BOCTAOE).
