Its about time someone said it... (WoW Thread)

Using 2 cooldown trinkets… and getting neg resists and a crit bonus…Oh, I forgot to mention that withthe amount of +dam gear you need you end up with about 2k hp and 3-4k mana.

Unlike melee. Dont start this shit here, melee > casters items.

Feral druids kick ass? Since when? Do you realize that any feral piece in the game will be given to a rogue over a druid? Do you realize that in all of MC there is 1 feral item? Do you realize that I have a loot link with over 500 epics and 15000 items, and of all those items there are a total of 5 epics in the game for a feral druid outside of PvP gear, where it jumps to an amazing ~15. Do you realize that any spec pally in the game can go to raids, but classs like priests, druids, mages, warriors, and shaman are forced in to builds. Hell the new revamp makes paladins excel in every aspect, you can go prot/holy and tank any 5 man instance in the game now, you can go ret/prot and DPS to a decent degree, you can go holy and be a main healer. The only aspect where you get pidgeon holed is MC, where you have to heal a couple hours a night. Hell my guild is lacking ret pallies with kings we would be glad to have another pally with kings there. Paladin I have always felt was a creative class, the seal judgement system is awesome when used properly. The fact is pallies wished for a change, and got one in a direction they weren’t expecting and now the crappy ones who will have to think are crying.

On the subject of Rogues, I love te crappy ones that are free CP when they think they can kill me, but god damn I hate the gfood ones. The top rogue in my guild can get me to blow my NS as soon as the cheapshot wears off. As for surviving against ramza, it would be a close call for me to survive a 5500 opener.

Finally on a related note my guild downed Rag tonight, we got a Perditions blade, Spinal reaper, DS legs, Wrath legs, and something else, bit I can’t remember what.

Edit: The fifth epic was a Malistars Defender, the awesome pally shield.

If end game is all about min/maxing then the game is flawed in its design. Blizzard gave us talent trees so we could play different classes in different ways. Punishing people and calling other classes “noobs” because they didn’t play a class the photocopy of all others is shitty. For instance, in instance runs, I heal. I heal a great deal and have no problems with it. But I also melee. And I melee GOOD. In 10man raids, I’m usually in the top 3 for damage often above the warlocks, mages, and hunters. Which kind of worries me… But anyway…

The point is, if theres a specific way people are expected to play each class, less they be noobs… Then the talent trees’ only TRUE purpose seems to be to exist to weed out the weak from the strong.

Welcome to my side of the arguement. Pick up your “I’m with TD” button over there and prepare to get back your virginity and never lose it again.

I still think its easily the best mmorpg on the market. Ever. But it does have the same flaw all other have had in the past… Play your class X way or you suck.
