Personally, it’s my favorite anime series at the moment.
Anyone been keeping up with Fangirlfriday’s fansubbing of it? I think they’ve been the best at it since fansubbing of Inuyasha started, right now waiting on episode 117
I guess my big comment has to do with the manga, which is still in production, and the anime isn’t anywhere near caught up with it yet. However… (major spoilage)
In the most recent chapters in the manga, from the summaries I’ve read, it looks like a potential ending to the series is approaching. Naraku and the good guys are after the final Shikon Shard, and it just happens to be in the boundry between the real world and the afterlife. More specifically, the same place where Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru fought for Tessaiga, the place where Inuyasha’s father’s grave is. Right now, Inuyasha is facing off with the youkai who has the final shard, an old aquaintance of his father. Naraku is slinking around somewhere, but is remaining in the background, probably until Inuyasha is about to get the shard. Of course, if/when Naraku DOES get his hands on the last shard, I’d imagine things will start happening very quickly. Kouga still has his two shards, and Kohaku still has the one keeping him alive, so I imagine Naraku will go after them next. Now that the Shikon no Tama is nearly complete, I bet the series will end shortly after a likely big battle with Naraku. Personally I’m looking forward to it, but this IS Rumiko Takahashi writing the story, so who knows HOW much longer it might drag on for…
Well, aside from all that black spoiler space, anyone play that Inuyasha fighting fame on the PSX? It’s not the greatest fighting game in existance, but it’s great if you’re a fan of the series.
Inuyasha rules:yipee: Finally I can see new episodes, after reading about the rest of the series on line. :yipee:
There isn’t that much gore, I don’t think. At least no where near as much as Ninja Ressurection, X, or Akira.
But I love it for Inuyasha and his ears, and the cute little love story he’s having with Kagome.:moogle:
It’s practically over in Japan, especially with the second movie, up until the strange happenings at the end. Inuyasha looks pretty cool as a full demon.:moogle:
While I was a camp counselor this past summer, there was this kid who loved this anime. A fellow counselor who knew far, far more about anime than I did, told me that she thought it was terrible, but she also had some burned DVD’s of the movies, so I got her to give them to the kid.
I’ve don’t watch much anime, but I generally know whats what, but I can honestly say I’ve never herad of it. But I’ve heard a 9 year old camper and a college webcomic artist from Newfoundland say it’s great, and a serious anime/techno junkie from Hoover, Alabama say it’s terrible.
Sorcerer read or watch it yourself and decide. it really depends on the eye of the beholder if this anime is good. If you like romance mixed with demon slayings and a bit of comedy you’ll like it.
