He’s confusing this thread’s topic, about Val’s online gender vs. RL gender, with internet dating; where you’re not sure if the girl you’re talking to is really a girl. He made a refernece to the Starcraft channel “Town Square” which, apparently, is full of “Internet daters, Japanese wannabes and spammers”.
While we’re on the subject of internet identity, my theory is this. For some, it’s escapism from their RL identity. For others, it’s a practical joke, and for me, it’s an extension of my RL identity. And even for a few, like the person who is said subject of post, it’s what they’re comfortable with. I only know this because I’ve been reading the posts.

Well, maybe Hades just really wants to be a girl. Since he did have that dream about having sex with Charle. So maybe this is part of his fantasy.
