Maybe so, but if I lived there I’d damn well pronounce it ‘fucking’, and I probably couldn’t stop laughing for the duration of my stay. I’d have a bad day, be all pissed off and grumpy and mad at the world, and then I’d be like, ‘Wait a minute: I live in Fucking!’.
