I’d have to say it’s a pretty damn good game, and now my favourite RPG. I wasn’t planning on beating it tonight, but after I got through the omen, everything was building up, and the story was just getting so damn cool, I had to beat it right then and there, and I did. Lavos was kind of annoying though… Not hard, but annoying, kept coming back.
The ending was really good, I thought, but I wanna get all the others now. However, I was playing the PSX version, and the ending movie was so damn confusing… Why the hell did Lucca have a miniature Robo, and find some random child in the bushes? That didn’t make any fuckin sense at all, and to make it worse, that was the last scene
Also, how do you get the new game+ option to work? I haven’t really tried it yet, but it didn’t ask me when I tried starting a new game. Is it possible to miss it?
The people created Robo from Luccas design, which she got from examining Robo, so the real question is would Robo have existed if Lucca and Robo never met? and the Baby was Schala, In Chrono Cross Lucca found Schala, and changed her Name to Kid.

And I personally hated the PSX people for putting all that stuff in the FInal Movie-thingy in Chrono Trigger. For one thing, it shows Frog as a human- but that’s only supposed to happen if you kill Magus and beat the game without Crono!
besides, I’m a firm believer in the thought that Crono and Marle shouldn’t get married. There’s too much getting in the way.

Hmm, that makes sense, but… What’s Schala doing in that tiime period? Wasn’t she supposed to be in Magus’s? I mean, that’s why Magus went back after all…
She was int eh ocean palace when it collapsed, but remember, there were gates that sent the Gurus to other times, and there wwas one that sent her to- Well, why don’y uo play Chrono Cross, it’s to confusing for me.
So THAT’S how Lucca found Kid! I freaked out when I saw the movie scene on the first disc of Chrono Cross, but I wouldn’t have guessed it was Schala!! That’s what I get for not playing the PSX version, but bugger it, now I know.
What if you beat the game again with new game+, do you still have the new game+ option, or do you have to go through the black omen again in your new file?
Once you beat the game with black omen you permenantly have the + game option and can start a +game from any save file no matter how far it is in the game.

But if you beat the game with Crono, you won’t get to see Glenn’s face, if I remember right. Beat it without Crono, and you may swoon with Lucca.
I thought you had to beat the whole game to get the New Game + option, sidequests and all. I might be wrong on that, but you definately have to beat the Black Omen.
Actually I think you always have the newgame+ option. But if that’s not so, then you get it once you beat the game. It doesn’t matter how you beat it though. I’ve been trying to get all the endings, and so far I have most of them. But if you want me to explain the schala, magus, and all that concerning both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, I can. I’ve never beat CC, mainly cause it couldn’t hold my interest, but I’ve read up enough on it and even read an interview with the makers, so I’d be able to explain all the confusing parts.
If you just select the load option, new game + will appear at the top if there’s a finished save on that memory card.
