We’re doing a project in Biology about “HUGO” (“HUman Genome Organisation”), adn I was wondering if anyone here know anything about it…
Because I sure don’t
HUGO is the international organization of scientists involved in the Human Genome Project… and that’s basically all I could find out with a quick jaunt through Google. They seem to be an organization of primary interest to career researchers, not students. Anyway…
Here’s their somewhat out-of-date webpage:
Human Genome Organization
And here’s the US Human Genome Project page, if it will help any:
U.S. Human Genome Project
Perhaps HUGO is the international form the Human Genome Project has taken - I don’t know, and I’m not inclined to spend my afternoon digging for info. For what it’s worth, I have a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and this is the first I’ve ever heard of HUGO.:fungah: ::doh::
Well… I managed to find the first page myself, but the second page will probably have some extra info
Thanks
