It’s easy, but it’ll still void any warranty.
Normally you don’t have to install anything, all you do is put it in and your computer recognizes it. It should run fine unless if your ram isn’t compatible.
Not difficult at all. You just open the compartment (usually a sqaure box on the bottom of your laptop), squeeze the tabs holding the old ram out, and then stick the new ram in.
