Though admittedly, it did change mine too; first, by making me aware that Fantasy could have rules (I used to believe that you had to make it up as you went along, unlike Science Fiction) and also by introducing me to role playing, which I do to this day. But I was mainly a comic book/animation fan.
BTW, this is kinda long, but it’s worth reading; not only is it full of nostalgia many of us identify with, it’s hilarious in spots too.
